Revelry Full Wrap_FINAL

From the bestselling author of Weightless and A Love Letter to Whiskey

Wren Ballard is trying to find herself.

She never expected to be divorced at twenty-seven, but now that the court date has passed, it’s official. The paperwork is final. Her feelings on it aren’t.

Spending the summer in a small mountain town outside Seattle is exactly what she needs. The peaceful scenery is a given, the cat with the croaky meow is a surprise, but the real kicker? A broody neighbor with nice arms, a strange reputation, and absolutely no interest in her.

Anderson Black is perfectly fine being lost.

He doesn’t care about the town’s new resident — he’s too busy fighting his own demons. But when he’s brought face to face with Wren, he can see her still-fresh wounds from a mile away. What he doesn’t see coming is his need to know who put them there — or his desperation to mend them.

Sometimes getting lost is the way to find yourself. Sometimes healing only adds a new scar. And sometimes the last place you expected to be is exactly where you find home.

About the Author:

Kandi Steiner is a Creative Writing and Advertising/Public Relations graduate from the University of Central Florida living in Tampa. Kandi works full time as a social media specialist, but also works part time as a Zumba fitness instructor and blackjack dealer.

Kandi started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.” She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic (like most girls brought up on Disney movies).

When Kandi isn’t working or writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys beach days, movie marathons, live music, craft beer and sweet wine – not necessarily in that order.

FINAL_The Best Man FOR WEB

Title: THE BEST MAN

Author: Barbie Bohrman

Genre: Contemporary romance

About The Best Man:

Veronica Webber is single again after being in a loveless marriage way past its expiration date. For the first time in a very long time, she feels free and after being burned so badly by love in the past, any thought of romance is the last thing on her mind.

In walks a man from her past, Trevor Allen, a tall, dark, and handsome womanizer who is usually all about the bottom line. For Trevor that bottom line has always been made up of the countless notches on his bedpost. But when he sees Veronica after so many years, he can’t help but be drawn to her and know her again… even if that means being friend-zoned from the start.

As this unlikely pair spends more and more time together, they quickly realize that there might be something between them that goes past “just friends.” But there’s just one tiny detail that makes this situation slightly more complicated… Trevor was Veronica’s ex-husband’s best man at their wedding nine years ago.

So when past mistakes and indiscretions come back to haunt them, will their happily ever after end before it even gets started?

Or will the best man win this time.

Review:

** I received a copy of this book for review, and special thanks to the author and Inkslinger PR**

The Best Man is Contemporary Romance that follows Veronica Webber. Veronica has recently just divorced her husband after finding him cheating and has decided to move to New York City to try to find her way again. Trevor Allen is tall dark and handsome…he also has a list of conquests a mile long. However, the one girl he never really had a chance with was Veronica. He was best friends with her fiance…and happened to be the best man at their wedding. So when Trever’s brother drags him to a hipster bar one night, the last person he expects to see is Veronica. He can tell she needs a friend, and for some strange reason he has a compulsion to be this friend. But Trever has always know Veronica was different…and there is only so long these two can fight their chemistry.

The Best Man was a great read. It was a sweet story about love finding it’s way in the end. This is the first book I have read from Bohrman and I will say I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the connection between Veronica and Trever…from the first time they met, throughout their story, I loved the way their love unfolded. Yeah, it was a little of you typical bad meets right woman and turns good kind of story, but that isn’t always a bad thing. Tropes like this one are popular in romance for a reason, we all love to see a bad boy turn good. I LOVED Trever, he was swoon worthy and sweet all at the same time. I also enjoyed Veronica’s character quite a bit. She is kind of lost in life and trying to find her way, and for some reason I always seem to connect with those sorts of characters…maybe the universe is trying to tell me something about myself?! HAHA. Anyways, I liked that these two had a past and that not all of it was good. I think it added some good dramatic elements on top of the fact that Trever was the best man at Veronica’s wedding. I also think that Trever and Veronica’s love story had an added element of surprise to both of them. Neither one of them every thought that they would end up together…oh, but man did the universe have other plans. And DAMN their chemistry was off the charts H-O-T!!!

Overall, I enjoyed this book a lot. I think you definitely should one-click this one right away! I think you all will absolutely fall in love with Trever and Veronica’s story.

Overall rating: 4/5 Stars

March Wrap-Up | The month of little blogging

March

Hello loves! It is that time again where we take a look back and reflect on the month previous, being March. OMG I can’t believe it is April already!!! Of course, April is my favorite mont of the year because it happens to be my birthday month! But anyways, I really struggled this last month with blogging. If you keep up with me at all you will have noticed that in the month of March I didn’t really post outside of the scheduled posts I had signed up for, as far as promo’s and blog tours go. So March for me was a little on the lacking side. The reason for this was simply that I think I just needed a break. Sometimes, we all get a little over scheduled and worked, especially if you have things going on in your everyday life. Now, that being said, that doesn’t mean that I was slacking on my reading, reading is my escape and what keeps me (semi) sane. However, I was reading books more for me than to review. For some reason, writing reviews is always a struggle for me…which is funny because that is why I started this blog, but none the less… sometimes I simply want to enjoy a book for myself. So that was my March.

Without further ado let’s jump into that I read this month…

Books

So overall 10 books isn’t bad, but it wasn’t what I had hopped for either.  I do happen to be ahead of my goal for Goodreads though, so let’s just hope I can keep it that way.

Happenings On

Like I said there wasn’t much that happened this month as far as posts go, but here are some of the most popular ones…

Author Interview with M.B. Mulhall

Forbidden Virgin by Carmen Falcone | Release Tour with Review and Giveaway

Paper Fools by Staci Hart | COVER REVEAL

Take Me Back by Meghan March | Blog Tour with Review

One big thing that did happen in March was that I hit a total of 600 followers across all platforms, including WordPress, Twitter, and Tumblr. I NEVER thought that it was a possibility when I started blogging. This community is the most welcoming, kind community and I am so happy to be apart of it! You guys ROCK!!

Untitled design (3)

So there you have it guys that’s what happened during March. Now here is a sneak peak at some of the books I plan on reading in April.

We all know how I am at sticking to TBR lists, but these are some books I hope to get read this month. I have been cutting back on blog tours and promo’s because I want to get caught up on some books that have been sitting on my shelf for a while. So as you can see I am trying to break out of my romance hole for a little bit this month, we will see how it goes.

Untitled design (3)

Have you read any of these books? Have any thoughts? Lets chat!!

Until Next Time…
