Lover, a sexy all-new STANDALONE from Marni Mann & Gia Riley is available now!

The attraction was undeniable.

I couldn’t escape him.

I didn’t want to.

I was his.

He was mine.

But he wasn’t my husband.

My once treasured marriage was now flawed and imperfect.

By the time the guilt set in, it was too late.

Reality was trying to keep me away from my obsession.

My husband was that reality.

My obsession was West.

But West was forbidden. Taken. Married.

We were swingers.

It was the perfect arrangement.

Until I fell in love…

With West.

Excerpt:

After tonight, she’ll know how gorgeous she is, and she’ll know how incredible a man can make her feel. And, when she looks at her husband, she’ll expect more from him.

I know shit between them isn’t as hot as what Tilly and I have. Cannon doesn’t look at Piper like he wants to take her clothes off with his teeth and have his mouth live between her legs. He gazes at her like he wants to ask where they’re going to dinner and what movie they’ll see after.

There’s a difference between fucking your best friend and someone who actually worships your body.

Piper will soon know the latter.

And that’s why she’s here. To know what it feels like to be with a man who lusts for her cunt.

She picked the right couple to swing with.

REVIEW:

Lover is the story of two couples and their adventures into swinging. Now, as soon as I saw the blurb for this one I knew I had to read it. I mean honestly I don’t think I ever seen a book pass in front of me that had to do with swingers.  To me, and I may just be the odd one out here, the idea of a storyline connected to swinging just excited me. So Lover follows Piper and Cannon, a couple that had it all together. Their marriage had been smooth sailing until recently. Piper, trying to fix her marriage delved into a swingers forum online, Cannon stumbles upon her online “research” and decides that he is willing, if that is what Piper wants. The counterpart to this story are West and Tilly. West was a professional hockey player until a career ending injury messed everything up. Tilly, was a puck bunny, and is definitely on the adventurous side of the bedroom. However, neither on of them is truly happy within their relationship. The two couples agree to the rules set up and begin down the dangerous road of the swinging lifestyle.

So what would you do if your relationship isn’t working anymore? Is bringing another person or couple in the answer? What happens when you fall in love with your new lover? Lover was, in all honesty a lot better that I had expected. Now the reason I say that is simply, yes I knew once I saw Lover that I had to read it, however, I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about where the storyline took us. But I most definitely enjoyed this book! Mann and Riley write incredibly well in this dual POV book, Piper and West, and they give us characters that you love, characters you hate, and maybe even a character you want to punch.

West, OH MY GOD West was HOTT! He is this man who is struggling with the idea of the end of his career, he is lost and doesn’t know how to go forward with life. He has so much to give, and Tilly just simply doesn’t bring it out in him. However, from the first time he sees Piper, she does. He is gentle and caring with Piper, it is hard not to fall in love with him. Mann and Riley did such a good job at giving us a male lead that pulls us in. Tilly, on the other hand drove me freaking crazy. She was ruthless and conniving. She made me want to reach into the book and strangle her. She was the total opposite of West to me, which I think added some good tension.

Piper…oh Piper. Now I don’t necessarily agree with her decision to bring swinging into her relationship, but I do feel for her. She feels as if she is putting all this work into fixing her marriage, and none of it is being reciprocated. She gets lost in West, he is everything she wants and nothing she can have. Cannon seems like a good guy, he is simply giving into his wife’s wishes. But as the story goes on I grew to hate him more and more as well. In all honesty by the end of the book I wanted to smack him.

So as we follow these four, through their adventures as swingers, and Piper and West grow closer, we also get to learn a little about West and Tilly’s background. Which really is a sad story. I won’t give you too much detail, but I think the loss really adds and element to their relationship that explains a lot about why their relationship is the way it is. But I think the thing I love most about this book was the EXPLOSIVE ending. Man, I did not see that coming!! Holy Hell, Mann and Riley threw us for a loop and put us through the wringer. I think that for me this is one of the things that made Lover stand out. I won’t go into spoilers, so you will just have to go read it to know what I’m talking about. But damn.

Overall I really enjoyed this book. It was original and creative. I think that Mann and Riley wrote well together and I will most definitely be picking up their books in the future. I highly recommend picking tis one up today! Do it, you know you want to!!
