Favorite Romance Series Recommendations
As a romance author, I also read my fair share of books in the genre and one book in particular lured me in. Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire was such an engaging story that it hooked from the first sentence. I have since read all of the books in both the Beautiful Series and Maddox Series.
Jamie’s writing is fantastic, and the characters she creates are all memorable. The Maddox Brothers are intense and passionate, and that’s what makes the book so fun to read. If you like alpha males, I highly recommend all of the books in both series.
Another favorite of mine is Jamie’s Providence Trilogy, which is a paranormal romance about angels and demons. I could not put those books down because I was so hooked. If you like young adult romance, I highly recommend reading Jamie’s Happenstance Novella Series. I read all three books within six hours. I think I broke a record with how fast I read them.
No list is complete without Elle Kennedy and her Off-Campus Series. Garrett, Logan, and Dean had me fangirling so hard over this series. Dean is my favorite of the three. The final book in the series came out in September, but I haven’t had a chance to read it, but knowing Elle, I’m sure it’s just as wonderful. If you like hockey romances with cocky athletes that will make you wish they were real, then check out this series.
Another amazing author that I adore is Teresa Mummert. I started with her White Trash Series and have been a fan ever since. She writes bad boys like no other. They’re sweet and sexy and have just the right amount of bad boy to make you wish you were the female lead in her books. I also like that Teresa is a New York Times best selling author and still takes the time to personally write back to her fans on Goodreads, Twitter, and Facebook.
I think most bloggers have heard of The Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout by now. I started reading Obsidian when I was working on edits for Corrupt Me, and what was supposed to be a twenty minute break turned into me reading Obsidian, Onyx, and Opal by the end of that weekend. I still need to finish the last book in the series, but I was so in love with Daemon when I read this series. He’s cranky and sexy…oh, and he’s an alien. I kept thinking of a young Superman. If you’re looking for a young adult romance series with a paranormal kick, then give this one a try. But I will warn readers that some of it is reminiscent of Twilight at times, so if that’s not your thing, you have been warned.

About the Author
If you like Mafia men, sports, bad boys, dirty talkers, strong female characters, and books with plenty of heat, then you’ve found the right author.
Jillian Quinn was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and currently lives in sunny Cape Coral, Florida where she still pretends it’s okay to drink hot chocolate and curl up on the couch with a good book, even when it’s ninety degrees outside. From an early age, writing and storytelling have been her passion.
When she’s not busy creating fictional worlds and living inside the minds of her characters, Jillian is reading and blogging. But you can bet she’s doing it while watching either basketball or hockey.
