Hello loves! I hope everyone had a great Christmas weekend! I know I did, we had a very laid back Christmas. My grandparents do Christmas on Christmas Eve so that left me and my husband the whole day Christmas day to hang out, we lounged around and then went and got dinner and went to a movie! Not going to lie I am kinda ready for it to be New Year’s, 2016 was kind of rough so I am ready to get to 2017…with that in mind though I have a TON of posts to work on for the end of the year, and never enough time it seems! I hate that this time of the year is so busy!!
Anyway, now that I have gotten my update out of the way it is time to get to the point of this post. WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Sam @ Taking on a World of Words!

My goal is to start Giving It All here shortly. And I am still trekking along with the Small Great Things audiobook, however it is at that point where I am pretty sure that if it were a physical book I would have stopped reading because I’m just not loving it. However, I am determined to finish it this week so wish me luck!

Both of these beauties are on my upcoming TBR…I got Big Little Lies for Christmas from my bestie, she just knows me so well!

Big Little Lies is on my holds list for overdrive. I’m not sure if I will enjoy it, but how can you say no to that cover?
What about the Picoult book is throwing you off? I was contemplating picking it up due to its popularity, but am in the fence. Happy reading!

I am excited for Big Little Lie, it has been on my TBR for a while. Not to mention they are turning it into a show so I have to read it before that!
I picked up Small Great Things because my co worker absolutely love it! I decided to do it as an audiobook so maybe that plays a part with why I’m not loving it. But in all honest I just feel like it is really repetitive with the same issue, and I’m not really connecting with the characters. It kind of makes me sad because everyone seems to have stellar reviews for it, but I’m just not seeing it.
I hope you enjoy both if you decide to pick them up though!

I always have different feelings when it’s a visual book vs audiobook. Weird how it happens. Thanks for sharing 🙂 Sometimes it’s hard for me to accept all of the good reviews, I like to know the flip side too
